He kept going well. He jumped well and kept galloping. He said he liked the ground and kept plugging away,. He’s an old fashioned horse, keeps galloping, jumps well and stays all day. I remember Jim Dreaper telling me one time ‘the lad that keeps going has some chance - the lad that stops has none’. You can have all the speed in the world but if you don’t finish out..
