After race at Ballinrobe Tue, 3rd May, 2022 (1st)  There were a couple of better-class horses in the race today but jumping is his forte and after the first two fences he had the others under a bit of pressure. He just got close to two at the top of the hill but he was brilliant again at the last. He’s not a married man’s ride. He goes as fast as he can and you just have to go with him. We’ll try and see if there’s another race here for him at some point during the summer, horses for courses. Young John Shinnick won on him here over hurdles and I had him declared for the ride but he hadn’t had enough rides over fences to be eligible for this race. It was hard luck on John but he got a great ride from Simon. E Bolger

After race at Ballinrobe Fri, 8th Apr, 2022 (1st)  he got away in front and got a clever ride from John - it’s a track where you can do that and his jumping was very slick. He was third to Master McShee the first day he ran but after that the wheels came off altogether. We just had to be patient with him. We won’t be delaying with him over hurdles and he’ll go chasing soon. John is from near Fermoy and has been with me since last August. He was on the Flat and he tried his hand in England with Kevin Ryan but just grew and wanted to have a shot at this (jumps) game. We’ll give him all the support that we can. The boss has had a good day with two winners at Aintree and now this lad. E Bolger
