After race at Punchestown Tue, 29th Nov, 2022 (1st)  What a little horse! He's the smallest horse in the race by a mile,. He was great in Listowel, I was really impressed with him there after he made a bad mistake. Today I was afraid of the ground to be honest but Conor went around the outside and they were going no gallop. He probably got the best of the ground and he just stayed, he loves a fight. That could be it now, I know he's only run three times but he's won three times, so he's entitled to a little break now. He'll come back in the spring. He'll go up another few pounds now, I suppose, but that was good. I thought the other horse had him down the straight but he just kept battling. He's so small that he'll never jump a fence, he is what he is. I'm absolutely delighted. Patrick Downey

After race at Listowel Sat, 24th Sep, 2022 (1st)  I'm delighted for Conor McNamara who has been a huge help to me over the last 12 months but am so disappointed for Paddy O'Brien who rode his first winner on him the last day. I had to make a heartbreaking decision who would ride and I know he is hurt but he is a big part of my plans. Paddy and Conor are two great guys who have brought us along. All he does is stay and he kept at it well. Poor old Sean Flanagan (rider of the runner-up), who lives down the road from me, said some nice words as we finished, but they can't be printed!
