Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Top weight after the time of declaration shall not be less than 12st 4lbs and the minimum weight is 10st 7lbs. Note The Rules and instructions relating to the Overnight Nomination of Riders shall not apply in this instance. The top 8 horses declared in race card order will be allocated riders from the selected British based and Irish based Riders team by lot. Trainers of any remaining horses in this race should declare a rider of their choice. The draw for riders will take place at 10.30 a.m. on Sunday 8th November with the toss of a coin to determine which team draws odd or even numbers. Individual riders will then be drawn by ballot. Points will be scored by the first eight placed horses on a scale of 15-12-10-8-7-6-5-4, if the horse is eligible to score points, and the team that accumulates the highest number of points will be deemed the winner.
