Listowel Sat, 26th Sep, 2026  Whateys Quest Abbie and Darragh (Cork hurling's captain) are sister and brother and this is a very emotional winner for them. They lost a mare at the Galway Festival so were a bit disillusioned by that and this is a great. Abbie works for me, is from a GAA family and it was great for Darragh and their mother to be here today. Darragh hasn't much of an interest in racing but was here to support Abbie. She is a brilliant girl. We thought the ground might be too quick so Abbie bucked him out in front. The horse is what he is and will mix it between fences and hurdles.

Listowel Fri, 25th Sep, 2026  Marian Avenue we failed to have a winner here last year when we tried hard. This year we weren't as uptight about it, we said we'd just take it as it comes. We'd love to have a winner or two of course and it has worked out (this week). The fresh ground today is a big help to Marian Avenue. We said we'd jump out good and positive, try and get him jumping. He didn't travel the last day but Philip said he'd be good and positive and it work out great.

Listowel Wed, 23rd Sep, 2026  Glin Road Boy It’s a fabulous win for the owner Paddy Mulvihill. He’s from Moyvane, which is only down the road, but he’s living in Limerick now,. He’s had horses on and off with me for a good number of years. We’ve had one or two winners but nothing serious. Hopefully this fella might nick a few more. He ran well the last day but it was probably more competitive here. It’s great to get the win. He’ll possibly jump a fence as well.
