Galway Tue, 8th Sep, 2026  Beset This is great as everyone involved has had to be patient. After her run in the Mooresbridge, we said we wouldn't race her again until the ground was soft, as she is really effective on it. We wanted to have her fresh for a good autumn and while it would have been great to find a Group race, this fitted in lovely. She was carrying a penalty, but it was an easy race to watch and she was impressive. We'll swing big now and the Prix de Royallieu on Arc weekend fits in with the timings. That's where we'd love to go and I don't think there is anything suitable in between. After that, we have Champions Day at Ascot and there's also a Group 1 in Germany in November. I wouldn't like to rule out bringing her back in next year, as fillies who like soft ground are so hard to find. She is a queen. Mikey Wilson, from ITV, brought the owners together and they include Emma Palmer, whose Le Breuil won the National Hunt Chase in 2019, and Nick Luck. We are all pals and our first horse Lady Of The Lamp is now at home, and in foal to Sea The Stars.

Galway Tue, 8th Sep, 2026  Leadlight He was a little bit unfortunate the last day, so it was good to get compensation and he was very strong coming up the hill today. This looked a better race on paper, although I don't know how deep it was. He has a rating of 80 and I don't know if he has gone much beyond that, but he stays very well. He is still a baby, he'll be a middle-distance horse next year and should continue to progress with racing. He'd love that ground and I'd say we'll get as many runs in as we can before the end of the season. Kevin Blake, representing

Gowran Park Tue, 1st Sep, 2026  Banbridge We didn't expect him to win, but thought it'd be a nice place for him to get the season off to a start. He really went through the race with great enthusiasm and he won snug. We are having a think about an American option for him and he also has some options at home. We'll have a chat with Ronnie and see what he'd like to do. It was just great to see him come back and show that enthusiasm. He likes to win races.

Curragh Sat, 22nd Aug, 2026  Yousaynothingatall She had a good run here last time and we felt she'd like going back up to 12-furlongs. She quickened up well. Dylan is riding great and it's a fantastic day for him. It's no surprise as he doesn't make many mistakes.

Curragh Sat, 22nd Aug, 2026  Acula She had a nice debut and she came on nicely from that. It was hard going against the boys but we wanted to come to a nice track. We'll see how she pulls up and make a plan from there. I'd say the ground was probably sharp enough for her. We think that hopefully she's a filly that long term black type will be on the agenda but maybe she's just not there yet.

Cork Fri, 14th Aug, 2026  Alwaysanangel She has plenty of pace, as she showed at Newmarket where they went really quick. She was in her comfort zone today although had to come around on the 'wing' which wasn't ideal, but it was the right thing to do and she quickened up well. She only did enough when she hit the front. She is a Listed winner now and could come back to six (furlongs), so there are good options for her. It will depend on what step Joseph wants to take next. She was well bought at the breeze-ups by Stuart Bowman of Blandford Bloodstock and she runs for great people (Byrne family) who always come to support their runners.

Gowran Park Wed, 12th Aug, 2026  Star Performer She has done nothing wrong. She won nicely on debut and this was an obvious stepping stone. You'd have to be impressed with the manner of her victory. She's a stakes winner now. A daughter of Sea The Stars, good-looking filly.

Gowran Park Wed, 12th Aug, 2026  Citrus Springs She's improved with each start. I thought she was impressive to win today from that draw. She obviously had to use a lot of energy early to get her position, and she pulled away in the last furlong. She looks a nice filly. We'll probably have a look at going to Kentucky Downs with her. There's some good prize money there.
