Gowran Park Tue, 5th May, 2026  Dark Lucinda She’s a nice filly. She worked well the other day and I thought she’d run a good race,. I was keen to come for this race because she’s in the Gowran Classic in three weeks and that’ll be where she goes. The connections, Ballylinch, are obviously local as well.

Gowran Park Tue, 5th May, 2026  Moody She’s a filly that hasn’t a lot of racing done,. It might have looked like a bit of an odd idea to come with a penalty into a Listed race having won a Listed race but I felt that it was only her fourth run and I wanted her to learn a bit more. I thought she’d stay, without absolutely relishing the mile-six. I thought she had the class to stay. She was here to learn and hopefully we’ll go for the Munster Oaks next.

Mon, 4th May, 2026  Velozee Billy thinks six furlongs will be no issue to her, so we might look at maybe the Albany. She could go back to Naas in a couple of weeks and, run again,. She is a strong filly. She has had one bit of work since she won in Cork. She's uncomplicated and, I think she's good.

Sligo Sun, 3rd May, 2026  Lady Mairen I knew she had come on from her run the last day, and I felt she wasn't harshly treated on her two-year-old form. I felt that, with a clear run around, she'd go close and I'm delighted to win this race. I won before for Robert With Rosscarbery (in 2022). I had her in the Vintage Tipple (at Gowran on Tuesday) which might have seemed like tilting at windmills before today, but I do think she's capable of getting black type at anywhere between a mile and a-quarter and a mile-six. My horses seem to be coming to hand, which is great.

It was trainer error to step him up to a mile from seven (furlongs) then, and back here today over a stiff six, he's done it well. He was drawn 16 on debut and he came on a lot from the run. He's a six/seven furlong horse. We'll see what rating he gets and maybe look for a winners' race.

Wed, 22nd Apr, 2026  City Of Memphis She had a setback as a two-year-old and I was keen not to over-race her last year,. She is a nice filly and this was a perfect race for her. All of mine are a bit 'short' this year and she is a bit rusty. Alan (O'Flynn) buys these fillies to race, breed or sell, or whatever and the idea would be to win a group race. He gave a good price for her at the breeze-ups and she is a talented filly. She has the ability to do so. She is with us two years and I have ran her twice but we'll see how she is and I won't rush her. The Ridgewood Pearl Stakes (Group 2, Curragh in May) would be a very good race for her. We're hopeful she will have a very good season.
