Fairyhouse Mon, 21st Sep, 2026  Big Negotiator She had good form. It’s her eighth run, she’s hardy, tough, sound and she loves fast ground,. I said to Billy that I thought six around a bend would be ideal. Six on a straight line could be tricky, as she has a lot of speed. She did go six and almost 100 yards in Listowel at the start of her career and just got chinned, so I thought it was possible. She could go to the Legacy Stakes (at Dundalk) in a couple of weeks time with a penalty.

Naas Thu, 17th Sep, 2026  New Bond Street She's a nice filly. I ran her over six-furlongs a few times just to educate her,. She came from the breeze ups and she just kind of wanted to do more than I wanted her to do. I thought while I was getting her beaten, she was learning a lot. I think with the drop back to five (furlongs) now you are seeing the real filly. She ran well here against the horse that won the Richmond (Man’s Best Friend). The next day Michael O'Callaghan's horse (Push The Boat Out) beat her and Aidan's (Marco Polo) was second. I ran her back seven days later in the Listed race, I thought she could be competitive in it. She just knew she had the race the week before and she ran really well to be third. I'd say that's as soft as she'd want it. I'd say she'd want better ground. I think she'll go to Dundalk for the five-furlong Listed race (Legacy Stakes) in two weeks time.

Punchestown Tue, 15th Sep, 2026  The Good Wife The Good Wife is tough, had a good run in Galway and she is a mile-and-a-quarter or mile-and-a-half filly for next year. She had six weeks to fill back up after Galway and I think she has a bit of class. She was drawn in 1 so I told Billy not to waste the draw and while she doesn’t know loads, she knew enough. In the last couple of years, my first-time-out two-year-olds haven’t been too streetwise and generally improve plenty, and she has come on nicely. She has a bit of size and scope and I think she’ll stay. I just told the owners that I wouldn’t be fussed about running her again this year but she could run in the Silken Glider. I’ll think about it and I’d say we’ll go into the winter after that. You’d then have a nice filly for an Oaks trial next spring.

Cork Wed, 9th Sep, 2026  Alpine Wedding She is rated 89 and I had previously taken the scenic route with her. She was drawn 18 of 16 at Gowran last week, but the only reason I ran was because we were running out of Goffs bonus race options. Today's race was the final one, and Paddy Hale (owner) worked with Goffs many years ago, so it was great to get E50,000 back. She is learning to race on the job, and I think she is a classy filly who will be a better three-year-old. Billy (Lee) thought she could run again this season, no problem, and there are a few fillies' stakes races for her. She's also in the Goffs Million, so that is a live option too.
