Kilbeggan Fri, 4th Sep, 2026  Begger It was very fortuitous. He was here to compete and he’s a good jumper,. We’ve been holding off for a bit of soft ground and today was as good as it was going to get. We needed to get another run into him since Galway. It worked out and we’re delighted. I hate celebrating when other people have had a misfortune, but we’ll take it. Hopefully he comes out of the race okay and then we can plan a proper winter campaign. He’s a big horse. We have great crew involved in the GQ Syndicate. It was put together after a very good friend of mine, Graham Quinn, passed away. A group of his friends got together and we bought this horse a few months ago, just to keep his name alive.
