After race at Kilbeggan Fri, 20th Jul, 2012 (1st)

He took a heavy fall a while back and completely lost his way. We reverted to the flat and we were schooling him in between. He gradually started to warm to it and it paid off today. He got a positive ride and after the first four or five he was gradually warming to it. He just went left at a couple. He's a good staying type and we had fantastic dreams with him at the start so it's great to win a good pot with him.

He is finding his way back but he will have to go over fences again at some stage. He might go for the Midlands National now or the Amateur riders race at (formerly the GPT) Galway. He would be rated high enough to get into that now.

that will have done his confidence a lot of good. He got a heavy fall at Clonmel one day and he lost his confidence over fences and hurdles since then. He'll go to Punchestown on Wednesday week for the Conyngham Cup.
