After race at Curragh Sun, 10th Oct, 2021 (1st)  He wasn't the bravest of jumpers and he always had that little bit of class so I was aiming for this and praying that we'd get in. I was afraid we were a little low in the handicap but it came right at the end and it was just what we hoped for. I've had the race in mind for him since last year. When you're thinking about it for a while it's great when it happens. I've been associated now with three winners of this race. I won it in 1969 under my father's name and we won it with Clara Allen in 2005. We had our first runner in it in 1953, which finished fifth. The race has been very good to me. John E Kiely

After race at Tramore Thu, 12th Aug, 2021 (1st)  I'm delighted, although I beat a neighbour. Dermot (O'Brien) used to work for me and his mare (Molly Wedger) was second. He might go for a hurdle now at Killarney. John E Kiely

After race at Listowel Sat, 14th Sep, 2019 (1st)  . I was able to get a breather turning in as I was going ok then and it would have been easy to go on. Thankfully I'd enough in reserve at the end. It was a good training performance to get him back as I was a bit disappointed with him in Killarney the last day but he's come forward a good bit from the race. John E Kiely

After race at Cork Mon, 7th Aug, 2017 (1st)  he was a little bit slow over a few of them but will learn in time. It was a nice performance and I think he will need further so we’ll try and look for longer races with him next. He will make a smashing chaser and while he’s winning we’ll stay hurdling and find another handicap and then see where we are. John E Kiely

After race at Killarney Mon, 17th Jul, 2017 (1st)  Andrew (Lynch) is a real horseman but it took a little while to click to the jumping - he was just a slow learner. He is more of a chaser but we'll keep him hurdling this year. It's nice to get a horse like him and he'll be fine if he's half as good as his sister. John E Kiely
