Artorius, Cannonball and Coolangatta are flying to the UK from Australia ahead of launching their challenges at Royal Ascot.

Last season, the Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained Artorius finished third in the Platinum Jubilee and the July Cup. He enjoyed Group One glory at Randwick in March before finishing a close fourth to Anamoe over an extended seven furlongs when he was last seen.

Cannonball heads over for trainers Peter and Paul Snowden, along with Ciaran Maher and David Eustace's Coolangatta who arguably boasts the strongest form having won the Black Caviar Lightning on her last outing, however she failed to sparkle in a recent gallop at Flemington.

Artorius gets the green light, though, and bids to go two better in this year's Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Stakes: "He had a piece of work Monday at Mornington and he's fit and well and ready to go," Sam Freedman told www.racing.com.

"He seems to be going just as well if not better than 12 months ago, so he'll arrive there and, touch wood, the flight goes smoothly and he settles in well.

"I think the horse is very straightforward, so it doesn’t really bother him all that much. We're hoping he'll handle it the same way he did last year."

For Cannonball’s co-trainer Peter Snowden it will be a first visit to Ascot.

"His trials have been good but it's a 1000-metre race (King’s Stand Stakes) and it's all about speed and execution and so we're keen to get it right on the day," he said.

"It is a long trip and you never know what could happen but he’s a big, strong horse and a great eater so he should be OK.

"I've never been to Ascot. I’ve been to Newmarket a few times but never Ascot, so it'll be an occasion to remember."
