Ballycoose (7/2) led home a one-two for trainer Stuart Crawford in the concluding Play Lotto On The BoyleSports App (Pro/Am) Flat Race.

The Mahler gelding travelled well to get into contention down the hill in the home straight and led over a furlong from home. He kept on well to defeat his stablemate Champ De Gane (6/1) by a length and a half.

The first two home both carry the familiar two shades of green colours of Simon Munir and Issac Souede.

Cato’s Revenge (50/1) was back in third ahead of the eye-catching Suain Na Draoicht while the 9/4 favourite Silas Marner faded to fifth having had every chance early in the straight.

Winning rider Declan Lavery said: “He's a proper horse. I rode a few bits of work on him and he gives you a serious feel.

"He's still very green and raw but he's a good horse going forward I'd say. He'll improve a fair bit from that.

"It did (look a decent race), the first four in it (the market) all had chances but when he got to the front, he didn't do a whole pile. Maybe I got there a wee fraction soon on him, I have committed and I just kept going.

"Yes, he was (the more fancied of the pair). Steven (Crawford) had him beforehand and he really fancied him. Thank God he has gone and done it.

"I'd leave it up to the Crawfords but I imagine he'd go for a break now. He would win his winners' bumper alright but I'll let them work away with that.

"He has a good pedigree."
