Cato Capone gave the Gordon Elliott team a fifth winner on the day when getting the concluding Mervyn Gray Construction(Pro/Am) INH Flat Race in the stewards room at Punchestown.

In what had been a ding dong battle all the way up the straight, the Elliott runner had just lost out to the Patrick Mullins ridden Lecky Watson

However, after viewing the head on of the race, the stewards decided that the two horses came together and overturned the result in favour of the second placed horse.

Elliott said:- “They are two very good horses. My fella is a tough horse and he's really a jumping horse, he's a real nice horse.

“They are two tough horses, it's never a nice way to get a race but I thought we deserved to get it.

“He might go over hurdles now.”
