Casheldale Lad is now in the care of Gordon Elliott, less than a fortnight on from his surprise debut success at Punchestown.

Returned an easy-to-back 33/1 chance at the Co Kildare venue, the Raven's Pass gelding got up in the final strides to beat Vera's Secret, who disappointed at the Curragh yesterday, by a neck.

A half-brother to six-time hurdles winner Liffeydale Dreamer, a career over flights now beckons for the bay three-year-old.

Speaking at the Curragh on Saturday after saddling Nostringsattached to victory, his former trainer Andrew Kinirons said: "He's sold, he's gone to Gordon Elliott. We have to pay the bills!

"He's a serious horse but we have his sister and there is a full-sister yearling coming through so hopefully they are as good."
