Conflated made it a super six winners for Gordon Elliott at Navan this afternoon as rider Shane Fitzgerald completed a big handicap double for the Cullentra House team in the Foxrock Handicap Chase.

Fitzgerald earlier won the valuable Bective Stud Handicap Hurdle aboard Commander Of Fleet and Conflated also defied topweight in this 2m4f event.

The 5lb claimer oozed confidence early in the straight and the 9/4 favourite asserted approaching the final fence before keeping on strongly on the run-in to beat Golden Jewel by five lengths. Winter Escape was a further six lengths back in third.

Elliott said, "He's a good horse and was a Graded horse over hurdles but he lost his way a bit.

“I fancied him in the Kerry National but he unseated at the third fence. It's great to win a nice pot with him. It's been a good day."
