David Marnane saddled a double at Dundalk on Friday evening and will be represented by East Hampton in the Irish Racing Writers Association Ron McKnight Memorial Madrid Handicap at Naas this afternoon.

The son of Cracksman steps up in trip to 7f for the first time and, as in all his starts so far, will be partnered by stable jockey Luke McAteer.

"He'll have a go. We think he wants a cut in the ground, he won on soft ground up the Curragh over six furlongs," said Marnane

"The trip is probably the issue for us, but we need to start him off somewhere.

"It is a good race and we'll find out a bit more about him. We'll see whether we are going sprinting or whether we are going the other way."
