First-time blinkered Betrayed (9/1) scored a fourth success today landing Dundalk's Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay Handicap (div II) for owner/trainer Leanne Breen and jockey Robert Whearty.

The 46-rated six year old mare broke well and made all for her success but was all-out in the final strides to hold slow-starting but fast-finishing Jazzy Dancer by a head.

Newry-based Breen said: “the first-time blinkers helped, she's very keen and Robert just tried to keep a hold of her as best he could.

"She's as sweet as anything and has been tipping down the local beach. The more running she gets, the better she is getting. She held on well and I'm delighted with her."
