The going for this weekend's Guineas Festival at the Curragh Racecourse is described as Good to Firm.

With only light showers forecast across the weekend selective watering will take place to maintain the current ground conditions.

There is fresh ground for both Saturday and Sunday and the stalls will be placed in the centre of the course for the sprint races.

The going is Good for tomorrow's National Hunt meeting at Downpatrick and selective watering will continue.

Ballinrobe where racing takes place next Monday and Tuesday is also described as Good. Racing there will take place on the outer loop.

Watering will commence today at Gowran Park where racing is scheduled to take place on Wednesday. The going there is Good to Firm and there is a mainly dry forecast.
