Ground eases at Thurles

Following 3mm of rain overnight the ground at Thurles is now yielding to soft ahead of today's Flat card.

Scattered showers are forecast. Action gets underway at 2.00pm on the seven-race card.

The ground has eased slightly at Fairyhouse ahead of the return of jumps action at the track on Saturday.

It's now good, good to yielding in places at the Co. Meath venue with the weather forecast unsettled today and tomorrow and set to be mainly dry on Saturday.

Following 3mm of rain in the last 24 hours the Curragh remains yielding to soft on the straight track and yielding on the round course.

The forecast is unsettled with the possibility of 6mm to 10mm of rain.

It is set to be mainly dry for raceday on Saturday. The track also races next Thursday and action will take place on the stand side track with 10 yards of fresh ground.

Punchestown race next Tuesday and Wednesday and the going is currently good.

It's an unsettled forecast and officials are monitoring the situation regarding watering. They are using the main track and fresh ground will be available on both days.

Tramore race next Thursday and the going is currently yielding, yielding to soft in places on the hurdle track and good, good to yielding in places on the chase course.

It's also an unsettled forecast in the south-east.
