Ground testing at the Curragh ahead of Flat return

The ground at the Curragh is soft to heavy on the straight track ahead of the Flat season opener on Saturday.

Racing will take place on the stand's side. It's an unsettled forecast with the possibility of 20-30mm of rain up until Saturday.

Stalls will be in the centre for all sprints at the Curragh this season unless otherwise stated.

Following 7mm of rain in last 24 hours Cork is soft, soft to heavy in places ahead of Thursday's card. It's an unsettled forecast with the possibility of 15-20mm of rain up until racing.

The ground at Naas ahead of their Flat card on Sunday is soft to heavy. Again it's an unsettled forecast with the possibility of 20-30mm of rain up to the weekend.

Limerick also race on Sunday and it's soft there. Up to 30mm of rain is forecast prior to racing.
