Harry's Hill returned to winning ways at 12/1 in the five furlong apprentice handicap at Tipperary.

He made good headway to close on Tai Sing Yeh racing to the final furlong where he picked up the lead.

The four-year-old gelding was ridden in the closing stages by Scott McCullagh and was all out to repel a staying-on Inventor (9/1) by a short head.

Tai Sing Yeh dropped out of the places as 25/1 shot Mymomentintime came through for third.

This was his third victory with the other two coming in Navan and Dundalk.

Trainer Martin Hassett said: "He has won on soft and we have been running him on fast ground and it is all about the ground with him. I knew coming here we'd be some way safe.

"At this level you have to tick all the boxes and the ground is the key to him. The draw didn't help us but he is tough and genuine.

"We needed that as we were hitting the cross-bar and I needed to stick one in the back of the net."

There was a 10-minute delay to this race after Tai Sing Yeh spread a plate in the parade ring.
