The Irish Racing Yearbook 2025 once again promises to be a great stocking filler this Christmas with interviews, profiles and analysis of the racing year both at home and abroad.

A collaboration of the best writers and photographers chronicle the leading protagonists in all spheres from breeding to sales, and from point-to-point tracks to the racecourse.

Champion amateur rider and Racing Writer of the Year Patrick Mullins interviews Closutton colleague Jody Townend, while Donn McClean secured a rare in-depth interview with champion owner JP McManus.

He also penned a tribute to two of the all-time hurdling greats Istabraq and Limestone Lad, who were born within a month of each other and died this year at the grand age of 32.

The cover story by editor Daragh O Conchuir highlights a record-breaking year for Willie Mullins which included becoming the first Irish-based jumps trainer to be crowned British champion for 70 years.

Aidan O’Brien, Chris Hayes, Jack Kennedy, Dermot Weld, Pat O’Donnell, Sean Levey, Gavin Cromwell, Derek O’Connor, Jimmy Mangan, Colin Keane, Rossa Ryan, JJ Slevin, John and George Murphy, Danny Mullins, Tom Gibney and Ross O’Sullivan are just some of the people that also feature in exclusive interviews.

There is also the usual sales and stallion analysis, a look at some of the horses to follow on the Flat in 2025 and GO RACING vouchers offering free admission to 96 race days throughout the year at a total value of €2,500.
