John McConnell's Bold Reflection will skip the Dublin Racing Festival, with targets at Aintree or Punchestown now on the agenda for the Mount Nelson bay.

Second in two point-to-point's when trained by Warren Ewing, she was subsequently sold to current connections for 140,000 pounds.

A comfortable winner on her racecourse debut at Limerick on St Stephen's Day, the five-year-old is now set for a step-up in class.

"She won't run at Leopardstown. We are going to wait a bit longer with her, I'd say she could end up in Aintree or Punchestown," McConnell revealed.

"We wouldn't really have a preference between them, we will take a look. Whenever she tells us she is ready, we will go there.

"She had the point-to-point experience and straight into a bumper for Christmas and we were pushing her for this (Leopardstown) but we said we would just back off. We'll give her a bit more time, she is only a baby.

"I'm not convinced she does (want deep ground), I think she will go on any ground really."
