Tipperary winner Measure Of Magic (10/3) followed up in good style in the Irish EBF Median Sires Series Race.

Shane Kelly ’s mount was out smartly and disputed the lead with Miss Amulet (4/1) in the early stages. From the elbow, she stretched away to readily account for that one by a length and three quarters, with the 11/10 favourite Logo Hunter back in third.

It was a seventh winner of the campaign for Kelly.

The winning daughter of Kodi Bear, who cost 9,500 euros as a yearling, has already picked up prize-money of over 26K for her two wins.

Winning trainer Johnny Murtagh said: "It was a very good race she won at Tipperary - she beat the horse that won the Group 2 the other day (Aloha Star).

"We always thought a lot of her. We were going to run her before then but we had a bit of a hold up with a dirty scope.

"There's a Listed race in a couple of weeks in Naas and we'll go for that. We think she's a smart filly and please God she has a big future ahead of her.

"She is quick, she is fast and she is very professional and hardy, which is ideal for what you need for a fast two-year-old.

"That ground is beautiful out there, so you couldn't fault it. I'd say it was good for her and she went on it. There was a bit more of an ease in Tipperary, so ground is not an issue.

"It was a good race. I thought she would win but there were lots of winners in it. The form was in the book."
