Annabelle Rock served up a shock in the opener at Dundalk as she overwhelmed the odds-on-favourite to win for trainer Ado McGuinness. That's Not Me (4/7f) broke smartly and dictated the fractions in this five furlong race with Associate Rock in her slipstream and Annabelle Rock in third.

Associate Rock was first to crack a furlong and a half down as That's Not Me was soon pressed by Annabelle Rock passing the furlong pole.

Annabelle Rock (12/1) was soon sent on by Shane Foley and the pair drew two length clear at the line. Fairy Fast was a neck away in third at 10/3.

The winner was rated 28lb inferior to the runner-up (53-81) and they raced off level weights today.

Ado McGuinness said: “I’m going to get crucified! It was a good pot of money and you would have to win two handicaps to get it, so that’s why we said we’d have a go.

“She’s not a bad filly and I think she’ll be competitive next year in sprints. She ran well the last day behind my Beau Warrior who has gone up 19lb since. She was only a few lengths behind and if you put that form together she was entitled to go close.”
