Arya Tara asserted inside the final furlong for a cosy success in the mile-and-a-half maiden at Tipperary, giving Aidan O'Brien a double on the card. Lambeau Field cut out the running and looked to have his rivals on the stretch early in the straight as nearest pursuer Arya Tara came under pressure.

The Dylan Thomas filly stayed on well for Ana O'Brien, however, getting on top inside the final furlong. The 6/4 shot was pulling away at the end for a comprehensive three-and-a-half length win. Monocle sent off the 4/5 favourite, couldn't pick up in the straight and was never better than fourth.

"She had a good run the last day and the step up in trip helped,” said Joseph O'Brien.

"She is versatile ground-wise and it would be great if we could get black-type somewhere."
