Aidan O’Brien completed a double at the Curragh when teaming up with his daughter Ana to take the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championship Summer Fillies Premier Handicap.

The daughter of Zoffany opened her account in a Dundalk maiden earlier this year and has been placed since in Group 3 company.

The 8/1 chance headed the front-running Duchess Of France about 150 yards out, and held on well in the closing stages. Honor Oak got to within half a length at the line, while Duchess Of France finished another length back in third.

The master of Ballydoyle was on the mark earlier on the card with U S Navy Flag in the juvenile maiden.

O’Brien said, “The drop back to seven furlongs suited her. She travelled well through the race at Ascot (Sandringham Handicap), and we said after that we would come back to seven.

“She is in again at Fairyhouse on Wednesday in a Group 3 (Brownstown Stakes) and will probably take her chance.”
