Ballyoisin continues to build towards the big future that was predicted for him earlier in his career and he made it two from two in the Odds Boost Your Bets On The Ladbrokes App Chase at Punchestown.

Good again from the front like he was at Killarney in May, Barry Geraghty always looked happy on the well-backed 4/6 shot.

In the end the J P McManus-owned and Enda Bolger-trained Ballyoisin had eight lengths in hand over Woodland Opera

"Barry was saying he's slicker going left handed but the ground is everything for him," said Bolger.

"A conditions race at Limerick could be next.

"As regards Galway and the Plate, I don't know if there's enough jumps coming home there for him.

"Jumping is his asset and he wants the ground really good.

"Barry and himself are a match made in heaven."

A.E. Lynch, rider of Champagne West trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount moved and jumped badly.

B.J. Cooper, rider of Val De Ferbet (FR) trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made bad mistakes.
