The concluding Follow Roscommon On Facebook Handicap Chase is the most valuable contest on today's programme, with the Karl Thornton-trained Bearly Legal heading the field of seven.

This son of Court Cave ran a cracker to finish fifth in the Irish National in March, and has since performed with credit in another competitive handicap at the Punchestown Festival.

Amateur rider Johnny Barry takes a valuable 5lb off his back here, and he should give a good account of himself in a race of this quality.

The well-bred Georges Conn makes his debut for John Ryan in this three-mile-one-furlong heat, while the Noel Meade-trained Tom Horn and recent Galway winner He Rock's are other leading contenders.

Stephen Mahon trains He Rock's, and he has Freedom Statue in the OCR Waste Management Handicap Hurdle.

The daughter of Presenting was an easy winner of a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe on her last start and she is sure to have plenty of supporters here with Paul Townend booked to ride.

Other recent winners in the line-up are Irish Bulletin Willow Grange and Another Rattler and they are all obvious dangers, along with the Willie Mullins-trained Dreambaby

Ruby Walsh will partner Dreambaby and he teams up with brother-in-law Ross O'Sullivan for the ride on Call It Magic in the Roscommon On Course Vets Beginners Chase.

A point-to-point winner on debut back in February of 2015, this six-year-old gelding makes his racecourse debut over fences now and he can be expected to go close. Space Cadet who is rated 121 over flights, is an obvious danger, along with the Thecraicisninety who impressed on his sole point-to-point start at Dromahane in March of last year.

Fellow point-to-point winner Monbeg Worldwide appears the one to beat in the Thanks For Supporting Roscommon Racecourse Flat Race, while Mic Milano Concience, and Bawnmore Lass are a few for the shortlist in the Larry O'Farrelly Memorial Handicap Hurdle.

Rosshaven Lady, and Wexford bumper winners Golden Flowerpower and Theatre Wine look to have the opening Knockcroghery Mares Maiden Hurdle between them, while Death Duty is the stand out name in the Roscommon Maiden Hurdle.
