The Hugh McMahon Memorial Novice Chase is the highlight on a valuable seven-race card at Limerick where the 'sold-out' signs are already up for the student raceday this afternoon.

Gigginstown held a strong initial entry for the Grade Three feature and rely on General Principle and All Hell Let Loose

Bryan Cooper has elected to partner General Principle, and the Gordon Elliott-trained gelding had little more than a solo school last time in a controversial race at Gowran Park.

Chief market rival Dicosimo fell before halfway in that event, and his two remaining rivals were called before the stewards.

Elliott has prospects elsewhere on the card, notably with Landau in the Follow Limerick Racecourse On Facebook Handicap Hurdle.

The seven-year-old made a promising return from a lengthy layoff when third to Adreamstillalive at Naas, and may now reverse places with that progressive rival.

Ruby Walsh and Willie Mullins may have the answer to the Racing Again On April 22nd Mares Hurdle with Karalee who has been absent for nearly two years since an impressive Irish debut at Killarney.

Ellmarie Holden and Rachael Blackmore teamed up to land the €100,000 Ladbrokes Leinster National with Abolitionist at Naas earlier this month, and the pair have bright prospects in the rated novice hurdle with Lachares Mortal the first produce out of smart chaser Pomme Tiepy, makes his debut for Joseph O'Brien in the bumper, with Patrick Mullins an interesting booking.
