Deans Road spearheaded a treble for Henry de Bromhead and Rachael Blackmore in the Tipperary Town Plaza Plate Handicap Chase.

The top weight was driven out to account for persistent challenger Lucky Pat by two lengths at 7-1. Mrs Lovett was three lengths further back in third at 5/1.

Henry de Bromhead said: “It’s been a brilliant day. I’m delighted for Mike Creed who has been patient.

"We struggled just to get him home in races but Rachael was brilliant on him and he jumped great for her.

“He really stuck at it today and he could go to Killarney next month for the two and a half mile handicap there.”
