Rachael Blackmore completed a double and in the process provided Ballingarry trainer William O’Doherty with a welcome winner as Jump For Dough took division one of the Buy Online @ Corkracecourse.ie Handicap Hurdle.

Blackmore became the first female to win the conditional riders title last weekend, and was again seen to good effect here on the 8/1 chance.

The Milan gelding was sent to the front early in the straight of this three-mile event but the well-backed Leaders Choice (10/1 to 13/2) appeared to be travelling ominously well before two out.

However Blackmore’s mount found most under pressure and was always holding the advantage on the run-in to score by a length.

Leaders Choice took the runner-up spot, with Nobody Home another three and a quarter lengths back in third and top-weight Macs Legend completing the places in fourth.

O’Doherty was enjoying just his second win under rules having sent out Orange Touch to also win at this venue back in 2009.

O'Doherty said, "He had good bumper form and likes that ground. We kept things simple and kept out wide for the better ground today. We'll see what way he is in two weeks time and go for the same again.

"That's my second winner and I only have a handful of horses. I break a lot of horses but I kept him."

The six-year-old is owned by Pat Lynch from Kilfinny, Co. Limerick.
