A couple of British raiders add interest to Dundalk's eight-race programme, including Robert Cowell's Visionary in the feature race.

Cowell has booked Pat Smullen for the ride on his 94-rated runner in this seven-furlong event (at 7.30pm).

The three-year-old has been pretty consistent in his five-race career, winning twice over five furlongs.

Visionary's sire Dream Ahead has achieved plenty since being retired to stud in 2012, but for many his name will evoke memories of Hayley Turner becoming the first female rider to win a British Group One outright, in the 2011 Darley July Cup.

Visionary, like Dream Ahead, is owned by Khalifa Dasmal, and there is optimism that he will stay this distance as he tries the trip for the first time.

He's out of a Lawman mare, and his running style also suggests that seven furlongs is well within his compass.

Visionary must face a couple of Ger Lyons rivals amongst his three opponents. Lyons' stable jockey Colin Keane prefers course-and-distance winner Tuff Love to the Gary Carroll-partnered Rock In Peace

Tuff Love is one from one after a maiden win here last month, and he is by another young sire going places in Casamento.

Tuff Love, like the rest, is receiving 6lbfrom Visionary, and the other participant, Joseph O'Brien's Remember The Days is not without a chance either, having won here over a mile a fortnight back.

Scottish trainer Iain Jardine sends Tenerezza into battle for the Follow Dundalk Stadium On Twitter Handicap.

Robbie Downey will take the reins on the recent Wolverhampton scorer, but the Shamardal filly comes up against a formidable foe in O'Brien's hat-trick-seeker Ligeti

Another horse trying for a three in a row, Pivot Bridge has to be very much respected as Ado McGuinness and Patrick Mullins combine in the concluding handicap.
