The four runner Pricewaterhousecoopers Rated Chase at Limerick today proved a dramatic event and in the end victory went to Galway Plate runner-up Burn And Turn which led home only other finisher Seefood Pass The Hat was in touch in last but crashed out at the fourth last fence while leader Sizing Italy under Jonathan Burke, blundered at the next and unfortunately sustained fatal injuries.

Burn And Turn, ridden by Robbie Power, was left in front after that third last fence and eventually stayed on gamely to see off the challenge of only remaining rival Seefood by five lengths.

Winning trainer Jessica Harrington wasn't present but Power later stated “she deserved that as she had a cracking run in the Galway Plate and also ran well at Gowran (behind Sizing Europe) the last day.”

“I avoided all the trouble (in the race) but got there sooner that I wanted. She jumps well, is tough and tries hard. That is possibly her last run of the year and I can see her coming back for the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.”
