"He's rated 12lb lower on the grass and I'd love to find a race for him," revealed winning trainer Gavin Cromwell after Political Policy followed up on last week's win, in the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Apprentice Handicap at Dundalk.

Political Policy is certainly keeping his owner, local man, Frank Lynch, happy, and this time with Sean Corby up, the top-weight came through from the rear of mid-division to make his bid quarter of a mile from home.

Now four-times a winner, all of which have been achieved at Dundalk, Political Policy led a furlong and a half out before going on to defeat the dead-heaters, Kodiac's Back and Aye Aye Skipper by a length and a half.

The well-backed Doc Holliday faded after sharing pace-setting duties, into sixth.

"That's great. He's taking his racing very well as we haven't missed him since he came in. He's been running basically every week. He seems to be improving," added Cromwell.
