Patrick Mullins made all on the point-to-point and Leopardstown Christmas festival scorer, and he asserted from over a furlong out for a comfortable four and three parts of a length win over Press Conference
Like Samcro, Press Conference is a Monksgrange points winner, triumphing at that County Wexford venue for Ted Walsh.
"He's improved since Christmas. He did it the hard way and did it well," said Willie Mullins, doubling his score after Uradel s success earlier on the card.
"He's just bought a ticket, I'd say, to go across the water on that performance. We'll see how he comes out of it. He's certainly gone on the short list now.
"After winning at two-and-a-half I wasn't so sure that he would be able to switch back to two on drier ground.
"It shows that he's better than I thought he was at Christmas.
"We've got Hollowgraphic, Blackbow, this fella, Squadron Commander and Tornado Flyer. That looks like the short list at the moment."
