Court Maid (3/1) was prominent all the way before easily landing the Guinness Open Gate Brewery Beginners’ Chase in the hands of David Mullins.

The Court Cave mare, a bumper winner at this track before going on to win four times over hurdles, jumped soundly on her chasing debut and chased Karl Der Grosse throughout before leaving that one behind once they turned into the home straight.

She galloped away for a 10 length success over 11/10 favourite Doctor Duffy with Karl Der Grosse fading into third place.

The winner was having her first start since making all in a handicap hurdle at Naas in early March.

Winning trainer Tom Mullins was not present.
