Dissociate (9/2) was an emphatic winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden in the hands of Billy Lee.

The daughter of Almanzor, runner-up here in May and making her first appearance since disappointing at Leopardstown the following month, was always prominent from her high draw and breezed into the lead over two furlongs out.

With the near-side rail to help her, she only had to be pushed out to beat the 7/2 favourite Toy by three and a half lengths with 6/1 chnace Life Is Colour another length and a half away in third.

Winning trainer Paddy Twomey, who is looking forward to the Breeders’ Cup Mile in early November with Pearls Galore, said: “She did what I expected the first day and she had a setback the last day, she came in lame afterwards.

“She's had her time off and we're back now. She split Agartha and Jim Bolger's filly (She's Trouble) on her first start over six which was plenty short for her.

“She's a filly that probably appreciates a bit of soft ground and it was trainer error running her on very fast ground in the middle of the summer.

“I think she'll progress well to three. I'd say she'll start early because she likes a bit of soft ground. She's a nice filly and has always been very uncomplicated.”
