The opening week’s fixtures in Ireland are beginning to take shape as Horse Racing Ireland have issued a revised list of Pattern races for the 2020 season.
Here is how the first week’s racing starting on June 8 is shaping up:

7 Furlong Group 3 Fillies Trial for 3-y-o

Wednesday June 10 Navan
1m2f Listed Salsabil Stakes for 3-y-o fillies only

Wherever possible 8 race cards will be staged to maximise opportunities for the horse population. Safety limits will be decided on a racecourse by racecourse basis to accommodate each track’s social distancing requirements, with a general maximum limit of 18 initially.
48 hour declarations will be in place for all races in June.
There will be no Apprentice or Claiming races in the first two weeks.
