The Pat Cloke-trained Flynsini stuck on gamely to grab victory in the closing stages of the Daily Mirror Hunters Chase at Down Royal.

Mtada Supreme and Illusion Of Time dueled at the head of affairs for much of the two-and-a-half mile contest.

The pair were locked together entering the straight with eventual winner Flynsini under pressure in fourth.

Illusion Of Time blundered Johnny King out of the saddle two from home when disputing leaving Mtada Supreme in a clear lead.

He started to tire going to the last, however, and after side-stepping a loose horse Flynsini challenged at the final fence.

He stayed on better on the run-in to record a three-and-three-quarter lengths victory under Paul O'Neill.

The winning jockey said:- "He travelled well, jumped great and galloped well."

Owner Eamonn Sinnott, from Wexford, added: "I've a couple in training and that's the best of them!"

Cloke was leading up his winner.
