Dropped 8lb after two unplaced runs in handicap company, Slick Chick capitalised on her new mark of 59 to land the seven-furlong nursery.

Always prominent, Shane Foley's mount knuckled down well under pressure and led inside the final furlong to beat Static Charge and Hilltop's Bear by half a length and the same.

Foley said: "She has toughed it out, look I don't know how strong a contest it was.

"We have been disappointed with her being honest in her runs to now because her work was a lot better.

"She was getting a bit frustrating and I said to Jessie, we'll try her on the all-weather, something different, and she seems to work well on our all-weather and it has worked.

"She might win again and I'd say she will come up here for the winter and might head off to the sales, we will leave that up to connections.

"My one stuck it out well and she probably wants a mile."

It was a double for Foley, and winning trainer Jessica Harrington, after Funny Money Honey in the Legacy Stakes.
