Force Of Forces cruised home to open his account in the two-and-a-half mile maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse.

Willie Mullins' charge was sent to post an 8/11 shot having been fourth on his first outing for the yard at Thurles last month.

Bryan Cooper bounced out in front on the hotpot and he had his rivals in trouble turning for home.

The French-bred didn't need to be asked any questions to post a 19-length winning margin over Ask Heather

“He liked the ground and appreciated the step up to two and a half,” said Cooper afterwards.

“Bar the fourth last he was very good, and he’s a grand horse to look forward to.”

The winning rider's father Tom is pre-training 25 horses for winning owner Andrew Brooks.
