Future Proof (13/2) wore down Call Me Dolly to win the ladies' handicap in Leopardstown for Maxine O'Sullivan.

The pair were clear of the remainder racing to the final furlong as Call Me Dolly attempted to tough it out from the front.

Future Proof caught her inside the final furlong and took a narrow advantage. Call Me Dolly (13/2) stuck to her task but couldn't get back on terms once headed.

The winning margin was a neck with two lengths back to Place Des Vosges (12/1) in third. Arctic Blaze (14/1) gave her backers an each-way dividend in fourth.

Noel Meade said: “He’s just come down a little bit and he ran very well here last year (in the October Handicap).

“He might go now for the Naas November Handicap and then back over hurdles.

“He’s a fun horse that can win races. He’s not altogether simple but often those type of horses get on well with women.”
