The Galway Shopping Centre Handicap Hurdle had its fair share of incident but after his win on Our Kylie on Wednesday Danny Mullins made it two for Galway 2016 when winning on Garrett Power's Garri Rua (14/1).

Mullins also went close on Hidden Cyclone in the Guinness Galway Hurdle on Thursday and Garri Rua galloped on well on the run-in to put six lengths between himself and Bye Bye O Bye

There was further heart-ache for supporters and backers of favourite Sea Light (an unfortunate second on Wednesday) as he still have every chance here when falling at the last. Oisin James was hampered and unseated Rachael Blackmore in the same incident.

Two out meanwhile Call Vinnie fell taking out Gold Patrol and Tantamount

"Garrett does a good job as he's not exactly straight forward. If Davy's horse (Russell's Sea Light) had challenged me on the run-in my horse would have pulled out more, although I can't guarantee he would have won," said Mullins.
