It proved plain sailing for Telmesomethinggirl in the opener at Roscommon as the even-money shot made all to open her 'track' account.

The Stowaway mare had cost £150,000 after winning a point-to-point in February 2019 and was placed once from three starts over hurdles last season.

She made no mistake today, bouncing out in front under Rachael Blackmore, and easily disposing of her rivals.

Henry de Bromhead's charge had the others in trouble turning for home and asserted from the second last.

Blackmore only had to shake up her mount on the run-in to post an easy 12 length victory over Moll Dote

The winning rider:- "We always thought a lot of her at home and things went right for us today, she is a lovely mare going forward. The ground is lovely out there."
