The going at Cork remains soft to heavy ahead of the student raceday this afternoon.

The seven-race card gets underway at 2pm with four going to post in the featured UCC Horse Racing Society Hurdle including former Grade 1 winner Lieutenant Colonel and Karalee who filled the minor places behind Jezki at Leopardstown earlier this month.

The forecast is for a dry morning with persistent rain this afternoon.

Navan hosts a rescheduled fixture tomorrow with the advanced going described as heavy.

Racing also takes place on the all-weather at Dundalk tomorrow, while Downpatrick report that the second last fence will be omitted on Sunday due to remedial work on the racing surface.
