Following 3mm of rain yesterday, the ground at Thurles remains good on the chase course and is good, good to yielding in places on the hurdle course.

The forecast is for a cool and mainly dry day and the first of seven races gets under way at 12.05pm.

After 1.5mm of rain in the last 24 hours, Fairyhouse remains good, good to yielding in places ahead of their two-day fixture which begins on Saturday. The forecast is for showers tomorrow followed by a cold and breezy outlook for the weekend.
