The ground has eased at Navan ahead of this afternoon's meeting and the going is now described as yielding.

There was 9mm of rain overnight, and further showers are forecast this morning.

The Coral Flyingbolt Novice Chase is the feature on a seven-race card beginning at 1.45pm with four going to post for this Grade 3 prize.

Gordon Elliott is doubly represented with likely favourite Duca De Thaix and Mrs Lovett while course and distance winner Jetz appears the chief threat.

The John Nicholson-trained Benruben completes the quartet.

Meanwhile the going at Leopardstown, which hosts a two-day meeting on Sunday and Monday, is now good to yielding (hurdle/bumper) and good on the chase course following 4mm of rain overnight.

Further rain this morning is forecast to clear in the afternoon, with heavy rain expected tomorrow. No further watering is planned at the South Co. Dublin venue.
