Ground eases at Sligo

The ground has eased at Sligo ahead of racing this evening.

Ten millimetres of rain fell at the Cleveragh circuit and the ground is now described as good to yielding, with further rain forecast this afternoon.

There is also action at Killarney this evening and the ground there is good, good to yielding in places, with showers expected prior to racing.

It's good to firm at Cork ahead of racing on Wednesday, while it's good at Tipperary where action takes place on Thursday. Rain is forecast for both venues.

All eyes will be on the Curragh this weekend for the Guineas Festival which starts on Friday. It's currently good, good to yielding in places on the straight track there, while it's good on the round course.

Plenty of rain is forecast for the Co Kildare venue in the coming days.
