Ground now Soft at Listowel for Kerry National card

The ground is now Soft (Hurdles and Chase) at Listowel following 18mm of rain since yesterday afternoon.

The first of seven races on Guinness Kerry National day gets under way at 2.10pm with the feature event at 4.30pm.

The hurdle track will be on the outside of the Flat track with island hurdles in use.

The forecast is for another 5-6mm of rain during the day, and then a possibility of heavy rain tonight.

The ground for tomorrow’s Flat card (fresh ground) is Heavy.
